The Best Snacks at Animal Kingdom
There are a TON of snacks at Animal Kingdom - I will say that besides EPCOT, Animal Kingdom has the absolute best food. With the new Pandora part of the park, you have endless options for snacks.
Here are my top picks at each area of the park
Discovery Island
I always get this snack at Eight Spoon Cafe and it is by far my favorite savory snack in all of the parks. The barbecue pork mac and cheese is to die for. They offer it at Flame Tree Barbecue and Eight Spoon Cafe, but the line at Eight Spoon is always shorter. Though Flame Tree offers more options.
I got the plain barbecue pork mac and cheese, and for $6.79, I really think it’s a great deal. My dad asked if he could have a bite or two… This man ended up eating over half of it!
Asia
Yak & Yeti is soo good. I have always gotten the honey sesame chicken, but honestly their entire menu is great. Rib tips, Kobe beef burger, vegetable tikka masala… These prices vary from $13.99 to 17.99. It’s easy to split with others!
Africa
Mr. Kamal’s is great for a quick snack. We get the seasoned fries with curry honey mustard and the chicken dumplings with a ponzu sauce. They also have a Moroccan beer that is pretty good, too!
Mr. Kamal’s also has hummus with veggies and mini pita for those more health-conscious at Disney :) All of these are under $10.
Pandora
Satu’li Canteen is great for a well-rounded meal. Specializing in bowls, lots of vegetable and grain-based bowls with your choice of protein (chicken, beef, shrimp, tofu, or tuna). These prices range from $12.99 to $17.49.
Probably the most famous item on this menu though is the cheeseburger pod - it is a bao bun stuffed with ground beef, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and cheddar. Yum!
