Gift guide for travel lovers

Here is a gift guide of useful gifts for your travel-loving loved ones!

  • Passport holder. There are sooo many cute ones out there, but I love this one from The Lost Bros. Anthropologie, Target, Amazon, and Etsy all have some really great passport holders.

  • Maps. After my boyfriend and I went to Poland, Estonia, and Finland, I got him these maps of the cities we went to for Christmas and he loved them! They have different colors, though I love the navy. They are the perfect size to create a gallery wall of everywhere you’ve visited.

  • Traveller Collective Pieces. I love all of their pieces. They have necklaces and key chains and you can collect little rings for every state, continent, country, national park, and Canadian province.

  • Away suitcase. These are a bit expensive, but they have a lifetime warranty, super lightweight, have a variety of sizes, and have a portable charger included. I have one and love it.

  • Hand Warmers. I have these and have gifted these and they are amazing! They are rechargeable and get HOT very quickly! If you travel in the winter often, live somewhere cold, or go to the mountains every year, this is a great gift.

  • Packing cubes. You really can’t go wrong with any of these. If they’re a chronic over packer, give them some compactable ones. If they just need help organizing, get them the AmazonBasics one or some that have a side for clean and a side for dirty clothes. This changes the game!

  • Portable Charger. I have this one and the one that comes in the Away suitcase and I love them both. I’ve had this Anker PowerCore for years and it is taking a bit longer to charge the power bank now, so I’m glad I have 2. But this is something I feel everyone needs, not only for traveling, but just to have on them.

  • Life Straw Filtered Water Bottle. This is good for your traveler who goes to far flung places where the water might not be the cleanest.

  • Lo & Sons Catalina Deluxe Bag. I LOVE this bag for a quick weekend getaway. It’s machine washable, super durable, and has a separate compartment for your shoes on the bottom. They always have sales, so follow their instagram and you’ll be sure to get at least 20% off sometime.

  • Kindle Fire 7. I just upgraded to the 7 and love it! You can have books, tv shows, and movies on your device. They’ve also added Audible so you can listen to your favorite books on it. You can download your movies before your flight so you can watch them when you’re not on wifi.

  • Door Stop Security. I don’t have this yet, but this will be the next thing I buy. This is for your nervous friend or maybe if you’re going with a group of girls and staying in an accommodation that doesn’t feel quite safe. It’s less than $10 and would be a great gift.

  • Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 Neo. I have an instax camera and recently brought it on my trip to Berlin and Tallinn and had so much fun. This one seems a bit better and also seems to be packed better. But this is good for your old school or trendy friend. One of the comments discusses when is the best time to use this camera that is really helpful.
