25hours Hotel, Paper Island Review

I stayed at a Dis-loyalty hotel in London, so I wanted to check out another one of their hotels in Copenhagen. We initially booked the 25hours Hotel, Indre By, but on Black Friday the Paper Island hotel was 50% off. So we booked the biggest room for less than the 2nd smallest room would be in Indre By!

Location

Located on Paper Island, this hotel is a 10-minute walk (only 800 meters) to Nyhavn - the famous waterfront area in Copenhagen.

Copenhagen in general is a very walk- and bike-friendly city with great public transportation. We biked and walked everywhere and never realized how far and how much we were walking.

Room and Hotel

We got the “Gigantic” room for $665 for 3 nights with the 50% off discount. With my dis-loyalty discount, I still would’ve received 20% off.

Our room had 2 twins beds (scandi sleep method!!!), a desk, a sitting area, heated bathroom floors (love Northern Europe for this!), a good shower, and separate water closet.

The hotel feels like a kitschy lake house in the best way. Very cozy, very (tastefully) kitschy, and comfortable.

The hotel offered a rooftop bar with some incredible views, great drinks, and cozy atmosphere with a fireplace. The lobby included a wine/coffee bar, a living room-feeling lobby with another fireplace and chairs.

The hotel also offered bikes to rent which was great! I hadn’t ridden a bike in over 10 years, with a massive fall happening the last time I rode, so I was nervous but we made it!

Pros

The location was so ideal. We walked by the Indre By location and it looked very fun, and very “happening,” but I’m so glad we stayed at a more low-key hotel instead.

The hotel has a great feel, the bars were great, and the bikes were a nice touch!

I loved being so close to the water! Being on an island, I loved looking out windows and walking and having water all around you.

Cons

Not many cons I can think of! I highly recommend it!
