What to Eat and Drink at EPCOT Festival of the Holidays

EPCOT has some amazing festivals… Flower & Garden, Food & Wine, but my favorite is always Festival of the Holidays.

Each country creates a brand-new menu and we ate at every single country… except Italy. Which I know is sacrilegious, but nothing really stuck out to us… and the salmon tartare push-pop was especially offensive :)

Mexico

Pomegranate Margarita

We got the pomegranate margarita! I personally didn’t love it as it tasted like it had mezcal instead of tequila in it, but I am a sucker for pomegranate and a rosemary sprig garnish :)

Giant Tostada

We got the giant tostada and this was my favorite snack of the day! I loved it. The flavors were perfect, it tasted so fresh. I loved it so much.

China

Kung Fu Master

It had Tito’s vodka, triple sec, mango and orange juice, and soda water. It was pretty good! Cameron loved it.

Beef Noodles

These were pretty good! The beef shanks were slow-roasted, tender, and lean! My only complaint is the noodles were difficult… They were weirdly tough but mushy?

Germany

Beer Flight

We got the beer flight! One was a cider, the middle was a general beer lol, and the dark one was a doppelbock. We loved them all!

Cheese Fondue

We got the fondue in a bread bowl with root vegetables. This was a crowd favorite! Funky, warm cheese in a sourdough bowl?! Yes, please! The potatoes and carrots were also perfectly cooked :)

United States of America

Holiday Beer Flight

Since the German beer flight was such a hit, we decided to do the American beer flight. It was a FLOP. I enjoy beer, but these were the three worst beers I’ve ever had in my life.

Holiday Turkey Platter

We got the holiday turkey plate and this was also a tie for a crowd favorite! Warm, moist turkey, gravy, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, green beans with fried onions, and a stuffing cake - yes!

Japan

Japanese Christmas Punch

We got the Japanese Christmas Punch - shochu, plum wine, cranberry, and lemon. Cameron loved it!

New Years Celebration Soba Noodles

The soba noodles were sooo good. The perfect broth, great shrimp tempura, and I loved the green onions. This was Keighlin’s favorite!

La Chaim

Whiskey Sour

Whiskey Sour! Yum yum yum! It is strong… so it’s tough to have it halfway through the crawl… but it is worth it!

Potato Latkes

Potato Latkes with a dill sour cream? Is there anything better? I’ll answer - no.

Pastrami on Rye

Pastrami on Rye - I’m not a big corned beef fan, but this was so good. Perfect portion size, the bread was warm, the mustard was perfectly tangy. We loved it.

France

Frozen Hot Chocolate Martini

This was my favorite drink of the entire crawl - the frozen hot chocolate martini in France. I’m not a big chocolate fan, but this was to die for.

Ham and Potatoes

Ham, onions, mushrooms, bacon, dauphine potatoes, and mustard sauce. What’s not to like?! The potatoes were perfectly puffy.

Nochebuena Cocina

Chai Ginger Mule

Chai Ginger Mule - sounds better than it tasted. I love a mule, I love chai, and I think those flavors could work well together… but not how it was executed here.

Alfajores

Alfajores cookie! So good. If you love shortbread cookies or dulce de leche, this is for you. Two shortbread cookies with dulce de leche filling and a bit of coconut flakes on the sides. YUM!

Cameron and Keighlin had the beef bourguignon in Canada, but were so excited they didn’t take any photos. They LOVED it.

Also, England did not have a holiday-specific menu unfortunately.

Overall, I think all of this was around $200.
