Drinking Around the World - Disney World’s most underrated park

If you ever go to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, Epcot is probably last park on your list. I was a competitive cheerleader so I went to Disney 1-2 times a year for 15 years. I would mainly hit up Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, but I also would try to go to all of the four parks in one day due to our limited park time. Once I turned 21 (and maybe a year or two before then), I realized how underrated Epcot was. In 2017, I went with my 3 sisters, who were 18, 24, and 27 and our dad and we had a blast. We did both sides of Universal in one day, then Magic Kingdom and Epcot in the same day, then Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios the final day. We had so much fun at Epcot that we ended up returning the final night to continue drinking in England! Whether you start in Canada or Mexico is your choice! It all depends on if you want to start your marathon with tequila or end with tequila :) I LOVE these super cute tees for drinking around the world. I’ve also made point cards for Drinking Around the World if you happen to go with a group. Feel free to save the ones below or message me and I can email you the high resolution copies.

List of drinks per country I recommend:

  • mexico: strawberry margarita, avocado margarita

  • norway: aquavit shot or scandanavian pilsner

  • china: canto loopy, two tipsy ducks in love, mango gingerita

  • germany: riesling, grapefruit hefeweizen, wine flight, or honey bourbon

  • italy: sangria or bellini

  • america: red stag lemonade or imagination pink lemonade

  • japan: sake mist

  • morocco: moroccorita

  • france: champagne flight

  • united kingdom: bumblebee or scotch

  • canada: la fin du monde or apple ice wine

Here is what I recommend at each country’s pavilion:

Champagne in France

Guinness in United Kingdom

  • Mexico: we had a basic strawberry margarita here inside at La Cava del Tequila. The margaritas outside are not nearly as good as the ones inside of the pavilion. I’ve heard amazing things about the avocado margarita here, too.

  • Norway: we all hear about the aquavit shot here and how horrific it is. I’d love to tell you all that I’m a badass and tried it…. but I did not. One day, I will take a sip of the aquavit shot lol. However, they have some decent beer and wine options here. It’s more of an outpost, like Africa, than a country pavilion. So feel free to skip this.

  • China: I had the canto loopy; however, my sister has the two tipsy ducks in love and it was so much better! It is a chocolate and coffee mixed drink. I have also heard the mango gingerita is amazing. If you’re going to complete the entire route, the coffee is in order. China also has some bomb potstickers.

  • Germany: I love riesling, which is a German white wine, so I got that here. However, they have some amazing grapefruit hefeweizen and a variety of beers and wines to try. Get a bratwurst or pretzel with them too.

  • Italy: We had a Bellini and some sangria. We love to eat here because the pasta and pizza are so great and helps with the excessive drinking, but every pavilion has amazing food. Our family just loves carbs.

  • America: the red stag or imagination pink lemonade are both great here. However, I do love that they have local craft beers from around the country here. This is also one of the few, if not only, places in Epcot that sells turkey legs. So if that’s your jam, grab one and feed your inner caveman.

  • Japan: sake mist! I’m not a huge fan of sake, but we got the sake mist and it was pretty refreshing. Though to be honest, at this point it was just another liquid lol. I’ve read they have some great beers here, too.

  • Morocco: the moroccorita is so good and very dangerous… I think I had 2 of them and was feeling very loose afterwards. Highly recommend one of these. Their restaurant is also amazing and they have some of the best architecture in Epcot.

  • France: champagne flight! They offer a variety of different champagnes to try and who wouldn’t want to do that? They also have a grey goose or grand marnier slushee that are very yummy and worth a shot. Definitely check out their pastries inside their cafe and eat lots of carbs here

  • United Kingdom: my favorite!!!! I am a fiend for Guinness. I got the “bumblebee” here which is Guinness and Boddingtons mixed together and it was great. My dad loves scotch and had a blast trying their different scotches here. The fish and chips right outside were so good and a great late night / drunken snack, especially with the malt vinegar :)

  • Canada: there’s really only one option here and it’s “la fin du monde,” the end of the world. It has won more awards than any other Canadian beer and is highly ranked for its aging process, taste, and production. To me, it tastes pretty basic, but like I said above, Guinness is my favorite. Canada also has poutine which is a great snack to help soak up all of the alcohol you’ve ingested throughout this journey.

PSA: Please hydrate and be sure to eat often during this! Don’t throw up at Disney and traumatize a child there lol
