3 Rooftop Bars in Lisbon

We only had 24 hours in Lisbon because of our stopover with TAP Air Portugal. We decided to just eat and drink our way through Lisbon while we were there.

I had no idea Lisbon had so many rooftop bars! We went to three and they were all so fun and different.

Bairro

We started here first and I’m glad we did! We came here when it was still light outside and we had great views of the water and the 25 de Abril bridge - which is identical to the Golden Gate Bridge.

This place was trendy, cool, and had great bar snacks.

Rossio Gastrobar

Rossio was beautiful and high end. They had an extensive wine menu, so if you’re looking for wine instead of cocktails - I recommend Rossio. They offer cocktails, but they weren’t my favorite.

Rossio is in the heart of the shopping area, so if you decide to shop, be sure to stop here after for a glass of Portuguese wine.

Chapito a Mesa

Chapito is up some major steps and hills… so be prepared to hike! This spot rounded out our rooftop bar hopping journey perfectly. It was casual and cozy, tucked away from the major parts of the city. It has views of the water as well, and had good food options as well.
